Apoptotic cells

Peyer’s patches from mice infected with Salmonella typhimurium for 4d were harvested, and cryosections were analyzed for apoptotic cells by TUNEL (green) and stained with anti-B220 (red). Dying cells, in the interfollicular and follicular regions, are visualized by the green label. Nucleii are indicated by DAPI (blue) stain.
