The BBS Program uses the Yale Graduate School's online application, which will be available at http://www.yale.edu/graduateschool/admissions beginning in August, 2008. On the application, please select the Track which best matches your research interests; your application will be reviewed by that Track's admissions committee. The BBS application deadline has not yet been determined but will be in early December, 2008. You are strongly urged to submit all of your application materials prior to the deadline.
General questions about applying to BBS may be sent to bbs@yale.edu. Specific questions about the online application itself should be directed to the Graduate School. When emailing the Graduate School, please make sure to place an "#" at the beginning of the subject field of your message to signal that you have a question related to the online application.
The non-refundable application fee is $90 and may be paid by either credit card or check. Fee waivers may be granted to U.S. citizens or permanent residents only. Please consult the online application to learn about the requirements for requesting a waiver and to access the waiver form. Note that applications cannot be reviewed without the required fee or an approved waiver.
If you reside in the U.S.

Select "Biological and
Biomedical Sciences" under Department or Program of Study, and choose
the BBS Track under the subfield from the drop-down menus. You can then
expect to receive a mailing from us within 1-2 weeks, and you will also
receive the Graduate School's booklet in a separate mailing.
Please note that we no longer have a paper application and are unable to mail brochures overseas.

The ornate Hall of Graduate Studies houses the office of the Dean of the Graduate School, the McDougal Graduate Student Center, and the main on-campus graduate student dorm.
